  • The first of the seven sacraments, and the "door" which gives access to the other sacraments. Baptism is the first and chief sacrament of forgivness of sins because it unites us with Christ, who died for our sins and rose for our justification. (CCC 977)

  • Baptisms are done every month on 2nd Saturday at 10 am
and on the 4th Sunday at 12 pm.

However, if there is another event going on such as Christmas, Easter, etc. there will be NO Baptisms on those days.

If Fr. Tom is not available there will be a Deacon who will do the Baptism.

Please come to the All Saints Office to recieve all the information needed to get your child baptised or call the office at 209-669-0473.

  • Information for Godparents

    Godparents must:

    • Be Catholics in good standing, and at least 16 years of age.
    • Be confirmed in the Catholic Faith.
    • If married, must have been married in the Catholic Church.
    • Take a Pre-Baptismal Instruction Class (if not taken within the last 3 years).

If Godparents are members of the All Saints Community: They may take the All Saints Pre-Baptismal Instruction Class and be Catholics in good standing as defined above.

If Godparents attend another parish: They must complete a pre-baptismal instruction class and provide us with a certificate of completion; in additions, they must provide us with a permission letter signed by their parish priest with the church seal affixed giving permission to be a sponsor for Baptism.

In addition to the Baptism class, we require parents and godparents to watch the series Reborn on Formed.org (can be found below) and turn in the study guide at the in person class. If the class has already been taken turn the study guide into the office.
