Catholic Student Association (CSA) serves as a club at Stanislaus State and a Newman Center located at All Saints University parish in Turlock. We are a ministry that serves all college aged young adults by fostering a faith filled community which calls one another on to holiness and draws us deeper into a personal relationship with God.
As our patron saint, St. John Henry Newman took, “Cor ad Cor Loquitur,” meaning, “Heart Speaks to Heart,” as His episcopal motto, so do we in hopes that we can learn to listen to the voice of the Lord- who is speaking from His heart to ours and respond from our hearts to His. Our mission is to lead each soul in our community to our Blessed Mother so as to unite them more perfectly to the Sacred Heart, for the greater glory of God the Father.

Hello dearest brother/sister in Christ! Wow, what a gift it is you have come across our page! We will share with you some things we like to do in our free time so you can get to know us a little bit, but it is our hope that we can one day meet you in person and share in the joys, sorrows, thorns, and roses of this chaotically beautiful life. We welcome you to join us this year as we grow in community and allow the Lord to heal, restore, and transform our hearts, making us a new creation!
President: Maira Aguilar
"In my free time I like to sketch, paint, jog with my dog, figure out why my plants are turning yellow, and read in my hammock with a cup of coffee in the morning :)”
Vice President: Maryah Nuñez
“Hello, hello!! I am a total lover of the little things in life and finding Christ within them. Therefore, you can 100% catch me going on Rosary walks, stopping to smell any and all flowers, sitting in
silence, journaling, reading, going on spontaneous adventures, eating ice cream, spending time with friends (ugh so good), meeting new people, and pondering on the awestruck wonders of our Father (He’s constantly blowing my mind)."
Secretary & Student Body Coordinator: Jessica DeLira
"In my free time I’m usually either learning or expressing myself creatively. I enjoy reading and also listening to engaging talks, podcasts, or audiobooks. As my creative outlet, I like to do just about any type of arts and crafts. I especially love sketching, brush lettering as well as painting with watercolor and acrylic. I also enjoy journaling such as: good old pen and paper journaling, bible journaling, and bullet journaling. (And on occasion, you could also catch me dancing.)"
Treasurer: Nico Semchuk
"I'm a fan of the simple things in life. Hikes in the great outdoors, road trips, and serving others make me happy and fulfilled in life!"
Social Media Coordinator: Jane Avila
“I love spending time with my family and being able to travel with them. During my free time I usually like to read, workout, or learn new things about psychology and how it intertwines with the teachings of the Church / Bible.”
Community Coordinator: Pedro Rodriguez
"Find a new reason to smile everyday. I like to keep busy with outdoor adventures and friendly sport competitions. My journey with Christ is a constant conversation that I'm grateful enough to practice with people I encounter. I’m excited to learn new things and grow with different people. Together we'll make a difference."
