Catholic Student Association (CSA) serves as a club at Stanislaus State and a Newman Center located at All Saints University parish in Turlock. We are a ministry that serves all college aged young adults by fostering a faith filled community which calls one another on to holiness and draws us deeper into a personal relationship with God.
As our patron saint, St. John Henry Newman took, “Cor ad Cor Loquitur,” meaning, “Heart Speaks to Heart,” as His episcopal motto, so do we in hopes that we can learn to listen to the voice of the Lord- who is speaking from His heart to ours and respond from our hearts to His. Our mission is to lead each soul in our community to our Blessed Mother so as to unite them more perfectly to the Sacred Heart, for the greater glory of God the Father.

Hello dearest brother/sister in Christ! Wow, what a gift it is you have come across our page! We will share with you some things we like to do in our free time so you can get to know us a little bit, but it is our hope that we can one day meet you in person and share in the joys, sorrows, thorns, and roses of this chaotically beautiful life. We welcome you to join us this year as we grow in community and allow the Lord to heal, restore, and transform our hearts- making us a new creation!

Works of Mercy Coordinator: Evelyn Martinez
Hey everyone, I’m Evelyn! I’m coming off of two years of being a missionary with NET in Chicago, working with youth, and in Denver with Christ in the City working with the homeless. I’m originally from Turlock and was a member of CSA for a couple of years beforehand. I’m so very excited to get to bring these different missions that I’ve gotten to be a part of and find ways to bring them to CSA in different ways as your Works of Mercy Coordinator! This year I’ll be studying Emergency Medicine with hopes of working as an EMT here in the Central Valley. In my free time I love to go find anywhere with an empty dance floor and do some swing dancing or do road trips to visit friends!
