  • One of the ensemble of the Sacraments of Initiation into the Church, together with Baptism and Eucharist. Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or "confirm" the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church. (CCC 1285)

  • CONTINUING CONFIRMATION STUDENTS

Confirmation will continue to have the current CRE model.  We will be meeting Wednesday evenings at 6:45.  Classes are gearing up to start on September 15.  Please let Renee in the office know if you have any changes to address, phone, or email. You will then be rolled over into the next level of confirmation.

    NEW CONFIRMATION STUDENTS

The registration process has closed for the year.  Please call the office if you have any questions.

    NEW MODEL FOR CONFIRMATION

The new model for Confirmation students starts with the 1st Year Confirmation students in the 2021-2022 year.  Starting this year there will be 2 full years of catechesis in 6th and 7th grade.  Then in 8th grade will be the reception of the sacrament.  The program will be the same as in the prior years with the exception of adding to the 8th grade year.  At this time, 8th graders will transition into The Factor, where they will await Confirmation.

There are some requirements that will need to be completed before receiving Confirmation:

    • They will still have to complete community service.
    • Mass attendance will also be enforced.  This is to place accountability on the parents rather than the child.
    • Attendance in the program is an important part of the program because it is a sign the learner/family is actively participating in and practicing their faith.
    • Reconciliation is also being suggested 2 times per year.
    • There will also be a retreat.
