We are so grateful to receive FOCUS Missionaries this school year! They will work alongside our CSA Officers to bring the students at Stanislaus State closer to Christ and to help them to build a personal relationship with Him.

Hi, I am Simon Neta, FOCUS team director at Cal State Stanislaus.
Growing up in Wisconsin was great! Fond memories I have are biking around Green Bay with my brothers, bombing the sledding hill at my Grandparents and seeing the fall colors on the bus ride to school. Doughnuts after Sunday mass was awesome, even when I had to learn patience as my mom warmed them up. Going to Catholic school gave me an understanding I am made for a good purpose. It was not until I went to college at the University of North Dakota that I learned to live it. There I was welcomed into the Catholic community at the Newman Center. I met FOCUS missionaries, and their friendship changed my life. I spent lots of time at the Newman center studying petroleum engineering, in a bible study, serving mass or cooking up Sunday Brunch. Most importantly I learned how to pray to God Who loves me. Desiring to grow even more in faith, my senior year I accepted to be a missionary with FOCUS. I have served at Cal State Long Beach, Cal State San Francisco and now here at Stanislaus. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi, my name is Paulina Cerros, and I am so excited to serve the students at CSU Stanislaus! I grew up in San Jose, CA and attended Arizona State University where I majored in Business Tourism. A fun fact about me is that I love the Fast and Furious series and I’m a huge Giants fan! In my free time I love to go to concerts, thrift Catholic artwork, sing around bonfires, host events at my house, and go country dancing.
