The basic unit of YATOL is a Team, consisting of up to 12 young adults, an accompanying married couple (usually part of the Teams of Our Lady movement), and a spiritual advisor. Each Team meets on a monthly basis and shares a meal together. During monthly meetings, the team grows together in their faith through prayer, meditation on scripture, topic discussion and personal sharing.

In addition to the monthly team meetings, a variety of other events are organized on both the local National level (retreats, spiritual events, socials, etc.) and the international level (International Meeting every 2 years).
